H.T.T.D.T.L.D. and Belts

When Tamara and I were in NY, I had a wee pot of a tisane of lemon verbena after we finished our delicious dinner at Picholine.  I’m always on the lookout for HTTDTLD (Herbal Teas That Don’t Taste Like Dirt) because I love tea and I love the process of tea, but I can’t drink caffeine past 11 a.m. on a regular basis.  I was so impressed with the verbena!  It smells like lemon and mint and is just really delicious.  That’s good–because the only other HTTDTLD’s that I like are chamomile (sometimes it’s too bland I think) and rooibos.  So I’ve been drinking 2 pots of it a day since I got it in the mail on Thursday.

I also just ordered this book

Belts don’t weird me out as much as they used to (they do with pants, but I think I could learn to live with them with skirts), but I can never find ones that I like or that fit me properly, so why not sew my own.  We’ll see what happens.  I’m excited to try.
